Group Description

The evolution of live performance towards immersive sound technologies is underway, and it’s branching out in many directions. The vocabulary used, the multitude of techniques and strategies deployed, are becoming increasingly difficult for industry professionals (technicians, stage managers, venue operators, and artists) to grasp. The aim of this working group is to clarify the various proposals and establish a common vocabulary.
