From August 15 to 17, 2025, Mexico City’s Churubusco Studios hosted the II AES LAC Latin American Audio Convention, three days that will be remembered as a milestone for regional audio. Argentina stood out with strong participation from students and professionals. Highlights included Fernando Castillo (AES-TAMABA) competing in Category 1, Francisco Bissone presenting on Dolby Atmos mixing, and Federico Enríquez (AES-TAMABA) in Category 5. Iván Markovic served as a judge and lectured on immersive formats, joined by Gustavo Costantino, Federico Alberetti (UNTREF-AES Argentina), and Fernando Richard. Argentina celebrated medals in Categories 1, 2, and 5, underscoring the country’s growing impact.
