Summary

We started the meeting by recapping the last event held at Guilford Technical Community College in High Point, NC. This event was a huge success. We had over 70 participants, many of whom were high school and college-age. So many GTCCs were willing to subsidize the food bill for the day. Four GRAMMY-nominated engineers led workshops. The workshops consisted of mixing, mic shootouts, how to succeed as an assistant engineer, mastering, and recording a complete session from beginning to end.

Then, we discussed how to help our collegiate chapter at UNCA, which was devastated by Hurricane Helene. Jude Wienberg asked us to contact his students from the state. Many of his students were displaced by the storm. We said we would take them in and help them be a part of our world in the state. UNCA will eventually allow kids to return to campus and work with their equipment.

Elections

A new slate of officers was voted upon, and the new officers are
