1. Ryan Boyle of Analog Devices, dropping into today’s meeting – he offers suggestions for the event description in Zeffy. Ryan also shares screen and give an overview of what products/ demos are to be presented at the event.

1. Who is planning to go? Dereck plans to go all week, Malik for a day. Dan suggests a slack channel for Boston members in attendance to link up at the convention. Brewster suggests using the Boston AES facebook group, so called “community chats” but might be too new a feature to push. The discussion touches on the different types of ticketing for the convention. Malik, soon to be AES governor, brings up advocating to grant all access for section officers.

9. Announcement of Malik’s new AES BoG postMuseum of Science event recap – 53 RSVPS, Brewster and others in attendance remarked on a good time as well as a well attended after party. Dan points out that the free parking provided by the host was a huge benefit to people making it out to the event. Brewster recalls an attendee who works in Museum installations who had flown from Kansas City to attend.
10. Malik talks about his meeting with GBH and the idea of having an intro to both AES and GBH (campus in Brighton) for a collaborative event in 2025. (Intro to AES for students including Film, TV, Podcast, Audio Recording)
