      Summary

The meeting began with a review of several in-person events that were confirmed for the upcoming months of June and July. This includes a performance by Matthew Azevedo using unique audio equipment, scheduled for some time in June. Another confirmed event was the AES Boston Barbecue picnic, which would be hosted by Daniel at his house in Acton on June 15th from 2-5pm. (date has since been revised to 6/22) An additional event hosted by Analog Devices was planned for September 23rd in Burlington.
When discussing logistics, the group talked about encouraging members to carpool or take public transportation to help with attendance at the events. They also debated plans for potential post-event meetups, deciding the Christian Science event would be followed by drinks and socializing at the Two Saints Tavern.
In terms of next steps, Otto volunteered to update the event calendar with the new details. Daniel agreed to design flyers to promote the events featuring Michael Blackmer’s garden installation and the barbecue picnic. Joe said he would create a task list for organizing and setting up the barbecue. They put out a call for volunteers to assist with setup for the Blackmer event as well.
Malik informed the group that he would reach out to Malakapur about the possibility of obtaining sponsorship to help fund future AES Boston activities.
